moment of honesty💞
I’ve always been completely put off pursuing a side business in photography because my photos never look like professionals and I don’t know what to charge and I may not be perfect at photography because I am 17, I am still learning my way around a camera and the best settings.
People aren’t supportive when you’re first starting and Ive realised that. It doesn’t take much to invite your friends to like my page, to share a post. even to book a small photo shoot for £15/£20. Every bit of practise, encouragement and promotions helps! I always look at this page and ummm and ahhh over starting again because nobody is willing to give a young photographer the chance.
It’s hard work starting a business, big or small but when you realise how little your friends, family and other people are so unwilling to support you and help, it really puts you off and disheartens me.
This led to my camera being stored at the top of my wardrobe since last summer. But I want to take photos, I want to do something I enjoy, I want to take pictures that will be treasured.
