📸 An Important Update from The Outdoor Dog Photographer
After a lot of thought, I’ve made the decision that The Outdoor Dog Photographer will close on 1st November 2026.
It hasn’t been an easy decision, but I know it’s the right one.
What started with a love of photography and, of course, dogs, grew into something that allowed me to meet some wonderful people and photograph hundreds of fantastic dogs along the way. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who booked a session, came to see me at a show or fair, bought an image or print, recommended me to somebody else, left a review, or simply followed and supported the page.
But life moves on, and so do priorities.
Photography will absolutely remain part of my life. I still love picking up a camera, and I’ll continue photographing my own dogs and pursuing other areas of photography simply because I enjoy doing them. But I’ve reached the point where I no longer want the commitments that come with running a photography business.
So, rather than letting it slowly drift along, I’ve decided to draw a clear line under it and finish properly.
All existing bookings will, of course, be honoured, and anyone holding a valid gift card is encouraged to book and use it before the end of October.
And we’re not quite finished yet! 🐾📸
I’ll be attending three more shows this year, where I’ll be photographing dogs on the day:
🐾 Corsley Show – 29th August
🐾 Southwick Show – 31st August
🐾 Frome Cheese Show – 12th September
So there are still a few opportunities to come along, say hello and have some photographs taken before The Outdoor Dog Photographer finally hangs up the camera.
Until 1st November, it’s business as usual.
To everyone who has supported The Outdoor Dog Photographer over the years — thank you. I genuinely appreciate every booking, every conversation and every dog that has stood, sat, run, jumped, completely ignored me or done precisely the opposite of what we wanted! 🐾😂
It’s been a chapter of my life that I’m very glad I had.
But now it’s time for the next one.
