// PARENT STRIKE //
Yesterday I had the honour of supporting ๐—”๐—ป๐—ป๐—ฎ ๐—ช๐—ต๐—ถ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ต๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜€๐—ฒ and The Dad Shift by documenting Mumโ€™s and Dadโ€™s coming together in London (and across the UK) to campaign for better flexible working for parents and longer paternity leave (6 weeks instead of 2).
With a turn out of over 3,000 taking part in the march, plus tons of media attention, the strike was a resounding success.
With support of MPs and many parent and child organisations, it would be a travesty for these voices of many to continue to go unheard.
May this only be the start in my journey to support these incredible organisations. Keep pushing guys, let movements like this pave the way for future generations.

One of my favourite jobs this year so far as been shooting the newly opened The Scoop Company Oxted Gelato Parlour.
Having worked with the team at Scoop since the very beginning, at the launch of their first shop in Warlingham, it was truly an honour to be asked back to photograph for a few hours on their launch day.
All of the photos here are of real local people, enjoying a trip for ice cream, the smiles were genuine and didnโ€™t stop throughout their visits.
What I love about the owners, Maria and Andy, is the genuine passion and dedication they have to make their dream work.
After growing up working with her Dad in his ice cream van, Maria had a dream to open her own shop, but The Scoop Company is more than a shop, itโ€™s an experience. The ice creams are absolutely divine and are hand made by Maria herself in the gelato lab.
So I highly recommend a trip to Warlingham / Oxted in Surrey to try some of their flavoursโ€ฆ give me a shout and I might join you!
