It's official! The Widcombe Christmas Market returns for 2022 in just under a month! Woohoo!!! 🙌

We've got all your Christmas needs wrapped up💝this year, we have over 40 exhibitors split across 3 local venues - all within a minute of each other.

From festive cards, to fabulous prints, jolly jewellery, original ornaments, cracking ceramics and much more besides, we've something for all the family from a bevvy of fabulous, local artisans.

More info to follow but for now, pop these dates in your diary:

Saturday 19th November: 10.30-5pm
Sunday 20th November: 10.30-4pm

I'll be at the Widcombe Christmas Market this year on 19th and 20th of November - looking forward to it! I'll have wildlife themed prints, cards and earrings on sale this year, come along as say hi if you're in Bath :-) I'll be one of the first stalls on the upper floor 🎄

I've been bothering the bugs in the garden - I really enjoy using my macro lens. It was quite a cheap lens (as photography equipment goes..) and has taken a bit of practice to get some shots that i'm happy with!
It's also so interesting to go and look for things so small you usually wouldn't even know they were there - did anyone else know there was a type of bee this small 😍 a furrow bee! These are regular daisies that grow on the lawn!

A beautiful hummingbird hawk moth 🦋 taken in Gratz, Austria last week. I think we get these guys in the UK too but there seemed to be a lot more of them in Austria!

I took this peregrine a few weeks ago at WWT Slimbridge - as you can see it had a full crop (of wigeon!)
They are incredible hunters, amazing to see it in action and I was pleased to get a shot of it flying - they're so speedy!

I entered this photo of a male mandarin duck in a competition recently at my local photo club - the judge said it was well taken as I got down to water level, but didn't place it 😂

A beautiful tawny mining bee 😍🐝
I took these shots in Bath a few weeks ago, love how furry she is! If you see small holes on your lawn with soil piled round the edge it could be made by one of these guys!
