Effortlessly romantic moments at the breathtaking Harlaxton Manor - the kind of setting where wedding portraits feel timeless and beautifully cinematic 🤍

Couple portraits are such an essential part of your wedding day, yet they’re often the moment that gets pushed aside when timelines feel busy.

But it’s during this quiet pocket of time, with the right approach, that you can truly slow down, be present and soak in that just-married feeling before heading back to join your guests.

Here are a few tips to help keep your timeline stress-free while still creating swoon-worthy portraits like these →

✨ Create breathing space in your timeline
Avoid planning moments back-to-back - a little buffer allows the day to unfold naturally and keeps everything feeling calm and intentional.

✨ Have your details ready the day before
Shoes, rings, stationery and accessories in one place means a relaxed morning and beautifully styled images.

✨ Aim to get dressed earlier than you think
This creates time for gentle, unhurried portraits and candid interactions with loved ones before the ceremony begins.

✨ Carve out 10–15 minutes just for the two of you
A quiet reset before your reception entrance helps you reconnect and fully enjoy the celebrations ahead.

Save this if you’re currently planning your wedding timeline
And if you feel unsure about structuring your day - my DMs are always open 🤍

How extra special are these beautiful snaps from Jade & Harry’s intimate summer elopement in London - and of course their adorable pup Indie 🐾✨

Thinking of eloping in London? Truly one of the most effortlessly stylish and romantic ways to tie the knot. (Tips below ↓)

✨Start with the outfits. Town hall ceremonies are the
pertect excuse to lean into something a little more fashion-forward - think chic mini dresses, tailored suits, statement shoes or even a second look.

✨Consider getting ready together. It keeps the morning calm and intimate, and those quiet moments betore the ceremony often turn into the most beautiful, candid photos.

✨If you can, stay somewhere nearby. A chic boutique hotel close to the town hall is always a chef’s kiss - it makes the morning stress-free and creates the most gorgeous getting-ready setting.

✨Leave a little time after the ceremony to wander. A short stroll around the streets nearby gives space for relaxed portraits and lets you soak in those first just-married moments.

✨And finally, keep the guest list intimate. Town hall weddings feel extra special when the day stays simple, personal and focused on celebrating with your closest people🤍

A final nod to the colder season before stepping into spring🍃soft getting-ready moments, an ethereal first look ✨

A gentle reminder to carve out a little extra time in your wedding timeline for portraits and detail shots. The calm, the anticipation, the light just beginning to shift - the kind of moments that feel almost suspended in time 🤍

💕Planning an unforgettable London wedding ceremony?

Here’s my take: London weddings are always iconic✨ The city is gorgeous, and getting married among all that history + architecture just feels timeless.

L&B’s itinerary was planned to perfection - they got ready together, we did couples photos on the way to Chelsea Town Hall, then met their families for the ceremony… and straight after, a little walk to the embankment to board their privately hired boat.

🍾Prosecco pouring, chill vibes, friends and family chatting and enjoying the London landmarks as we cruised along.

Once we docked, they hopped onto the iconic red double decker bus to head to the stylish Coal Yard with a quick espresso bar pit stop first (a sweet nod to bride’s Italian heritage).

Chilled, stylish, full of joy - exactly the kind of London wedding I love to capture x

🤍 Some of my favourite frames and a little tribute to the quiet magic of bridesmaids, from Ben and Bri’s beautiful, heartfelt day✨

The warmth, the energy, the uncontrollable laughter, and the steady support behind the scenes… they carried the day with so much love.💕 Helping Bri get ready, keeping an eye on the timeline, capturing little behind the scenes moments, joining hands in prayer, sharing emotional speeches, and gently making sure the two of them paused to soak it all in.

Capturing that natural flow, the sisterhood, and the beautiful energy that held the day together felt so special🤍

After taking time to reflect and set intentions for my creative business in 2026, one word keeps coming back to me: creativity✨

Last year was a true chapter of growth - fast-paced days, constant travel, refining my processes and pouring everything into delivering the very best experience for my couples. This year feels different. A gentle step back, not to slow down, but to go deeper.

My focus is on honing my craft and further shaping what Love in Bloom weddings truly represents - timeless elegance, an editorial sensibility, and honest, candid details. Images that don’t just document your day, but turn it into a lasting heirloom you’ll return to for years to come.💌

✨For a limited time this spring, I’m also open to select creative collaborations and would love to connect with wedding planners and like-minded vendors. If you feel aligned, drop me a DM and let’s create something truly beautiful together.

Notes on Love 🤍

Hello 2026, I hope you all had a great start to the year!✨
I haven’t really done “highlights” of the 2025, because every moment of running Love in Bloom and doing what I love has felt meaningful in its own way.

I’m endlessly grateful to every couple who trusts me to document such an important chapter of their lives - noticing the quiet moments and weaving them into the story of a wedding day is at the heart of my work.

I’m so proud (and very grateful) to say my 2026 high season is now fully booked (thank you!), with just a couple of dates remaining in October and November.

Welcome, 2026 🤍 and if you’re planning for 2027, feel free to DM me or enquire via my website. I can’t wait to hear from you 💌

There’s something incredibly special about winter weddings.
They feel quieter, more intimate, more considered - everything slows down and the atmosphere becomes deeper and more meaningful.

They do come with their challenges: limited daylight, unpredictable weather, and mostly indoor, candle-lit spaces. But that’s where experience really matters - knowing how to work with the light you have, embracing the mood, and using flash intentionally to complement the day and elevate it with an editorial, fashion-led feel rather than overpower it.

Isobel & Harry had the most beautiful vision for their wedding day. An intimate church ceremony, soft vintage styling, baroque details and the dreamiest candle-lit reception. Everything felt elegant, warm and timeless.

They looked absolutely stunning, but more than anything, they are such a loving, kind couple - the warmth between them filled every space. Days like this are exactly why winter weddings will always have my heart.🤍

🍸How they shape the evening vibes🪩

Hannah & Patrick didn’t just plan a reception, they curated a whole experience: iconic Somerley House as a backdrop, a roaming band setting the tone, heartfelt speeches, and the chicest black-tie dinner.

🪩Then the real fun kicked in: Craft cocktails on repeat, espresso martinis pouring, and a band that made sure no one left with rested feet. Just pure, effortless fun - the kind that stays with you long after the night ends.✨

🤍As you cosy up to plan your beautiful wedding, here are a few bridal-morning tips I’ve gathered over the years - simple things that make your morning feel calm and effortless:

1. Keep the room tidy. Store bags and belongings in wardrobes or one corner to avoid clutter in photos.

2. Set the vibe. Ask a bridesmaid to take over the morning playlist for a relaxed, feel-good atmosphere.

3. Nominate 1–2 point people. They can handle timings and questions so you can enjoy hair and makeup without interruptions.

4. Don’t go last for hair & makeup. Finishing early gives you time for portraits and a moment to breathe.

5. Stay hydrated + snack. Nerves and excitement sneak up quicker than you think.

6. Prepare a details box for your photographer. Rings, jewellery, perfume, invites, vows, etc.

9. Steam your robes/PJs. Especially satin - creases show up on camera.

10. Take a few minutes just for yourself and soak in the moment.

Little tweaks, but they truly set the tone for a beautifully calm start to your day ✨

A true showstopper - and one 2025 trend I hope never fades. Whether tall and sculptural or more understated in size, a beautifully crafted cake adds such a special moment to the day 🤍

It becomes a centrepiece in its own right - a cherry on top, a chef’s kiss finale to your wedding breakfast before the evening celebrations begin.
