To my brides, grooms , wedding guest, everyone that recommended me, believed in me and supported me.
I don’t even know where to start writing this… because it’s harder than I ever imagined it would be.
Photography has been such a huge part of my life, and I feel so incredibly privileged to have lived this dream.
It all started because I had awful wedding photographs myself… and I decided I wanted to learn how to do it properly. So I took a night course — heavily pregnant with Taylor — and somehow came out with a distinction in photography.
My very first wedding booking came from advertising on eBay… can you believe it?! And from that moment, everything grew.
Over the years, I self-taught not just photography, but how to build a business from the ground up.
And every single wedding, every family, every moment — I never once took it for granted.
I always knew how important this job was.
I’ve captured moments for people who are no longer here… moments that now mean everything to you. I’ve been welcomed into your homes, your families, your most intimate and emotional days. I have cried tears of joy at your weddings, danced my feet off, laughed, ate like a queen, and unknowingly you have lifted me in some of my darkest days. You trusted me with your memories… and that was never lost on me.
I have loved every single second.
But now, it’s time (almost) to hang up the cameras.
I still have weddings this year and next, and those will continue as normal — giving everything, as I always have. And I’m sure I’ll never fully walk away… I’ll still be around in some way, whether that’s second shooting or helping other photographers build their businesses — because I truly love this industry.
But my focus is shifting.
Four years ago, I opened my travel agency… and it has grown into something incredible. It now deserves the same 100% that I’ve always given to my photography couples.
So this isn’t a goodbye… it’s a new chapter.
