As a birth photographer (& a mum of 4!), my role in your birth space isn’t to direct or get in the way. My hair might stand out, but my presence is quiet, calm and focused entirely on protecting your birth space, while documenting the strength & emotion of the day you meet your baby.

Because of the unpredictable nature of birth work, I limit how many clients I take on. This ensures I’m 100% available and on-call solely for you when your labor starts, with no overlapping births.

Meet the other half of N&L!

If you ever see a guy with a camera & a blackout arm at a local event, that’s me Lewis!

While Nicole focuses on all things birth & family, I’m the one capturing our event coverage.

We’ve never done a proper introduction, so here are a few facts about me:

✂️ Precision & detail: When I’m not holding a camera, I’m training as a barber. Whether it’s sharp lines or crisp shots, details matter to me!

🏠Dad of 4: I’m the other half of our chaotic family! When we aren’t working, you’ll usually find us out on nature walks with the kids.

🎸 Heavy music & candid moments: Big fan of heavy music & when it comes to photography, I’m all about capturing authentic moments when people are just having a great time.

✨Down to earth: We might look a bit odd at first glance, but we’re completely down-to-earth once you get to know us!

Hi, for those who don’t know I am Nicole (& yes this is my ‘I actually put makeup on today so I’m taking a selfie’ face 🤣).

If you’ve been following along for a while - or if you’re new here - you might know this page belongs to both myself & my partner! While he focuses on event coverage, I’m the face behind all things birth & family!

I realized we’ve never done a proper introduction, so I wanted to share a few facts about me:

🩷 I’m a mum of 4! Birth & motherhood are my life, which is why capturing raw, unfiltered moments for other families means the world to me.

🩷 I stand out, but I hate attention! You’ll spot me a mile away with my bright pink hair & whenever I get chance heavy liner, but behind the camera, I am all about blending into the background so you feel 100% comfortable.

🩷 Future Doula: Down the line, I plan on training as a doula! Supporting women through birth - not just taking their photos, but protecting their space - is my true passion. I know better than anyone how difficult it can be to advocate for yourself & what you want!

🩷 Real over perfect! I’m not big on forced smiles (as you can probably tell!), which is why my photography style is all about real connection, candid moments & zero pressure.

Whether you’re here for events or following my birth photography journey, I’m so glad you’re here & we are so grateful for all your support!

I’m currently expanding my work into Birth Photography & would love your help!

I am still looking for families who would love to have their birth journey documented.

As a mum of four & an aspiring doula, I have a deep respect for the birth space & a personal understanding of the labor journey.

I’m looking to gift 1-2 complimentary birth sessions to families due anytime between now & the next 6 months in exchange for building my portfolio.

The Details:
• Portfolio Use: I am looking for families comfortable with me sharing images on my social media/website.
• All Births Welcome: Home, hospital, or C-section - I’d love to document your story! (Please note: for C-sections, access is always at the discretion of the hospital medical team, so this is usually best suited for planned/elective procedures where permission can be requested in advance!)
• The Goal: To capture the raw, beautiful reality of your baby’s arrival at no cost to you.
