I decided to take my camera out for a walk with my two at Ouzel Valley Park, and honestly…it was chaos!
There were meltdowns and my youngest managed to get covered in sheep poo, but between all that, there were some lovely moments. Climbing trees, jumping in leaves, cuddles with Alfie, that gorgeous golden light you only get in autumn.
Photographing my own kids always reminds me how unpredictable (and exhausting) it can be, but also how the best photos happen in between the chaos. Nothing perfect, just real life.
