Most people think of newborn photography as sleepy poses and tiny curled-up babies.
And while those moments are beautiful, there's something incredibly special about this.
Those first curious looks.
The way they open their eyes and seem to study the world around them. The way they look straight at you, as if they're already trying to work everything out.
These moments don't last long.
In just a few short weeks, their features will change, their expressions will become familiar, and this brand-new little person will already be growing into the next stage of their journey.
That's why I always love capturing both the sleepy moments and the awake ones. Because when you look back at these photographs years from now, you'll remember not only how tiny they were, but who they were in those very first days.
Newborn photography isn't just about preserving what your baby looked like.
It's about preserving the little things they'll never be quite the same way again.
✨ Capturing these precious first memories for families across Milton Keynes, Bedford, Northampton and Buckinghamshire. If you're expecting and would love to remember every tiny detail of your baby's first days, I'd love to hear from you.
🤍 Were your baby's first days mostly sleepy cuddles, or did they spend their time wide-eyed and curious about the world?
