It's been a really busy year at Flashtagfilms, I'm so grateful for the people I have met and the projects I have been able to work on.

Most recently I was working with UCAN LWL in Kilmarnock, a social enterprise providing tailored training and work experience opportunities for individuals with additional support needs. The team at UCAN work tirelessly to provide a fun, and engaging service which makes a massive difference to the users, and I was really proud to help showcase some of the amazing work they are doing.

Once again I was back on hallowed ground at the stunning Eden Leisure Village, this time to witness a truly remarkable day as Siobhan and Andrew committed their lives to each other.

Sometimes weddings just have that magical quality that is hard to put into words but everyone who was there will have felt the electricity in the air and known they were part of something really special.

It is always extra special when I get to capture the memories of personal friends, and I was so grateful to be a part of Fiona and Jack's wedding day at Dalduff Farm in Maybole.

They are the perfect family, and it was a perfect day filled with laughter, music, and a few tears. Congratulations to you both. ❤️🎉🔥

And so the Summer rolls on with another stunning couple and another incredible venue. Last week it was Melissa & Scott who said 'I do' and celebrated with their loved ones at Crossbasket Castle near East Kilbride.

It was a hilarious day full of surprises and I was so glad to be a part of it.

I was delighted to work recently with the We Make Kilmarnock organisation to provide some promotional material for my hometown. Kilmarnock has been granted £20 million to regenerate the town over the next 10 years and we can all do our bit to help raise the profile of the town.

Another week, another stunning new venue. Claire and Bernie tied the knot in the glorious sunshine at Balbirnie House a week ago. From dartboards to policecars, this wedding had it all, and I was so thrilled to be there to help capture this amazing day.

Congratulations Claire, Bernie, and Maeve, I wish you all the best as you start your official family journey together.

Now this one was extra special. A few of you may recognise the stunning venue Eden Leisure Village where I myself got married almost exactly 2 years ago to the day. This time I was there to capture the wedding of Ewan and Sasha and needless to say it was a perfect day with the sun shining, the pipers piping, and the drinks flowing.

I teamed up with Darvel Primary School a few weeks ago to help with a project to promote awareness of autism in the classrooms for Autism Acceptance Week. Presenter extraordinaire Henry James was an absolute superstar and delivered informative presentations throughout the school to help people understand what it means to be neurodivergent and what having autism means for him.

The work that Head Teacher David and his staff are doing at Darvel Primary School to encourage a positive and inclusive learning environment for everyone is so important and I was delighted to help them raise awareness for this good cause.
