It's not just old buildings I like, the first one is the cheese grater carpark in my home town of Sheffield the other is the side of the NCP carpark close by with the rusty steel bars giving a nice effect as the light passes through..

🇮🇹 Italy bound tomorrow just on my way to the hotel at the airport for the night..

The 2026 Sicily road trip took a turn due to mount Etna kicking off again and I wasn't risking the money I had invested into the trip for two weeks as if anything went wrong again I would stand to loose £2k and not even travel insurance would cover a volcano..
So everything has been cancelled and flights changed to mainland Italy starting in Milan I travel through Lombardy Piedmont Tuscany and Emilia over the space of two weeks picking up amazing locations I've work my backside off to track down,l and some good looking checks along with stuff I've not managed to tick of the list before, I spend soicb time on my Italy map I can get obsessed at times but I put in the hard work and don't take the easy route..
I am not sure when the albums will get uploaded as I've just started posting 2024 albums but no rush when your not in it for the clout..
I will be travelling alone again but tbh it's alot easier to go un noticed and it means my hard work is my own and not creating content for others and it's a hell of alot less stressful too.

So yet again I planned another road trip for Sicily and Mount Etna decided to go Boom 💥..
The trip unfortunately would be going one of two ways either see what happens worse case £2k down the drain and insurance won't cover anything to do with volcanoa.. or cancel and head to the mainland and pay to swap flights and loose arpox £350..

So flights where changed and a new plan in place so now I head to Milan and drive through Lombardy, Piedmont, Tuscany and Emilia over two weeks instead and it all start this weekend Saturday 19th as I head to the airport for the night and a flight out to italy first thing Sunday morning..

And guess what Mount Etna has gone Boom 💥 again this morning so I think I chose rite this time..

Sicily can officially suck my 🍆..

With an amazing view of one of Italy's grand lakes is a beautiful forgotten castle, Walking through the gardens down a track we are greeted by Mr tumbnus in something like a scene from Narnia.. unfortunately for me it was a very grey and wet day the view from the window upstairs wasn't all I was hoping for but on a clear day it would have given amazing views across the lake..

The first location on the 2024 Italy road trip was the red cross hospital high on the hills overlooking one of the lakes and not the best day to be there as it was bouncing it down with rain, it was one of those jump scare places as there was some big wet animal foot prints about but luckily I did not bump into anything..
Another bucket list location ticked off the list..

This is the second to last of the albums from Italy 2023 on our return to Earthquake area that took our hearts, on the outskirts of a beautiful town sits an abandoned and dangerous arts college with so much to see inside we could have stopped for hours.. in the same area we went to a medical centre, hospital, church and a few other schools one of which you will see next and even a huge ghost town that all but completely rebuilt now..
