Not posted in a while, but this weather is just too good not to get out droning! Miniaturised church at Pennington, using tilt shift technique to make it look like a lovely little wintery model like your grandma had on her mantelpiece. Let me take pictures of your house and make it look like this!

Sunrise over the A590 and Morecambe Bay. People seemed to like the heavily cropped version of this on my personal page, so thought I’d put this up here too!The panorama I did of this is much much wider than Facebook allows, which is a pity as the full panorama looks amazing!

Been taking an extended break over the summer, but have got some great shots on my travels. First is this one from Bamburgh Castle. I wanted to get the whole castle from above on one shot, but doing so would mean that I’d have to fly way above the legal limit to get the picture I wanted. At that kind of distance the picture would also lack a fair bit of detail, which I also wanted to retain.

I took 14 separate images of the castle grounds from directly above and used software to stitch and render one final image, with all the detail I wanted and well within the legal limits. I’m pretty happy with the outcome and hope you like it too, though Facebook won’t allow me to upload the full image you can check it out here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wdcmzxt4zkqd7mv/Bam%20Aerial.jpg?dl=0

Here’s a little video edit of some stuff we shot down at the beach today - it looked amazing and so mirror like on the video!

Crab or cockle pots on the estuary bed (I’m not telling you quite where these are though!) I’m going to throw some minimal photos on soon - I know they aren’t everyone’s taste, but I like them. I never know quite what I’m going to take pictures of when I send the drone up, but was taking some lovely minimal pictures on the beach when I saw some guys working out quite far from shore, so sent Dave out to have a look and see what was occurring, and this was a delightful little find.
