The Hoad Tower in all its glory...

Located in the beautiful town of Ulverston in the Lake District, this tower is built as a memorial to Sir John Barrow in 1850. Standing at a height of 100 feet, it is atop Hoad Hill, made out of Limestone and provides a 360 degree views of Morecombe Bay.

The perfect combination of history and motorsports, under one roof!

Took a visit to the lakeland motor museum today, and it really is something very impressive. From bikes to cars, to flying machines, it's definitely a place I would recommend visiting.

The wonders of race day.....

A recap of some of the amazing vehicles that attended the Ultimate Supercars event last Sunday, 18th August, 2025. As well as some great racing, we had the world's fastest boy, riding a custom drift bike in the drag races, the world's fastest hut & and some amazing aerial stunts to go along with it.

Want know what fast really is?

Last weekend, on Sunday, 17th August, was the Ultimate Supercars Event based at Elvington Airfield. It was a whole weekend packed with some amazing vehicles, impressive horse power, and an overall adrenaline filled atmosphere.

BUT out of all of the amazing cars there, there was one that really stood out due to the sheer speed and performance, and that was the 2018 McLaren 720s, belonging to a performance company known as .

As well as reaching some incredible speeds & with the reputation of being the fastest McLaren in the world, it really got the crowds' attention. It's a beautiful looking car and really packs a punch In such a small frame.

It was a great weekend, and this event happens every year, attracting more & more supercar enthusiasts, so make sure to join in on the event next year, as soon as the official dates are released.
