The Wedding of Leigh Matthews & Bob Pountney.

A beautiful, fun filled wedding of a wonderful couple, so clearly made for each other.

Starting off at The Wharf Station in Tywyn the Wedding Party take a trip on the Tal-y-Llyn Railway to the station at Abergynolwyn where the service takes place.

A return trip on the railway brings the now married couple back to The Wharf for the reception which is a music festival featuring musicians under the guidance of Leigh with her company Totaleigh Music.

Also playing was Bob’s band The Fabulous BOMS.
The evening also saw a magician doing some incredible sleight of hand tricks, children’s crafts and games.

Protest outside Ysbyty Tywyn Hospital today after Betsi Cadwaladr announced the “temporary closure” of the inpatient ward. Dwyfor Meirionnydd MP Liz Saville Roberts joined locals expressing their feelings about the announcement.
BCHUB have stated that they need to recruit four new nurses in order for the ward to reopen. So if you’re a qualified nurse thinking of relocating to a beautiful coastal town, this is your chance.
