Ok, I can't hold off any longer! My favourite time of year is coming towards us and that means my favourite time in the studio. CHRISTMAS MINI SHOOTS 🎄

Well hello…🥰

It’s been a while since I introduced myself. With the comings and goings of followers I think it’s about time …

I’m Dee Airey and I love happy, cosy people with all the schmooshie feels (not sure that’s even a word 🤔).

I love photographing all things wonderful to help people capture and relive their happy memories. What better way to do that than at weddings.

I’m not a fan of camera posing, in fact I’m quite camera shy and that’s reflected in my style of wedding photography.

I’m more natural and less posed, which is something my clients love. They never have to pose awkwardly in front of the camera saying “cheese”. I strive for a more relaxed and effortless experience ❤️❤️

I pushed the boat out in 2022 to help give my wedding couples the best service. I opened up a wedding photography gallery on the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells. It’s a stunning place to come and see wedding photography up close and personal and be able to flick through real luxury albums. It absolutely beats surfing online trying to find the right photographer.

We’re coming into wedding season now and I’m getting excited for it 🙌🏽.

⭐️GIVING BACK ⭐️
I believe deeply that it’s so important to give back to others. Especially when our own lives are empowered and fulfilled.

Living in a wonderful home, having a great job means that so many opportunities are available to me and so many doors can be opened if I put our minds to it. 🤔

Being able to do something valuable for people in other parts of the world we only hear about on the news helps to make the world a better place.

I get job satisfaction every single day, even when I have to do the tasks I dislike. But I get true life satisfaction when I can give back other who need support. Especially kids, because they’re the future of the planet 🌏

So I’m off to revisit Zambia 🇿🇲 in September to support the Siankaba Community School, nested in a village where most of the family homes are one-room mud huts. This can only happen if I can raise the funds to do ao.

I’ll be packing up a bunch of cameras and teaching the kids basic digital photography, and my partner in ‘everything great’ Oksana Gribaite will be joining me to teach physical activity including martial art. 📚And we want to leave enough money in the school to sponsor some of the children into higher education 📚

🔥 GIRL POWER 🔥

Anyone who knows me well knows I cannot stand positive discrimination or exclusive groups (who hide behind inclusivity). I’d never subscribe to or join an all women’s group or an all black group because exclusivity breeds exclusivity. It keep’s discrimination alive….don’t get me started 😱 However…..

My heart breaks when I hear and read about :

😢 girls around the world who are oppressed from very young ages just because they are girls
😢 young girls forced into marriages with men 2 or 3 times their age
😢 girls being robbed of education

These females i’d shout out for all day long because they have their choices in life completely removed. These females need standing up for 🙏🏽

So m, through my business, I’m supporting VOW FOR GIRLS ❤️

CONGRATULATIONS YOU TWO BEAUTIES 💖

This wedding didn't stop. The groomsmen - full of beans. The bridal party - full of beans.

Weddings like this are why I do what I do. I just love the day that unfolds and the love that's shared, and the coming together of two families.

When these two walked into my shop on The Pantiles, I loved them immediately. They were too gorgeous to miss out on. I am incredibly honoured to be part of special days like this with such wonderful people, and I cannot get enough of it. Couples like this inspire me to go on and on shooting weddings.

There's no greater feeling than being surrounded by fun, laughter and love...oh and more laughter. And where better to witness it than at a wedding!

So much is forgotten years after the wedding. The only things that tend to live on are the rings because they're worn every day, and then the photos.

Flicking back through your wedding album brings all the memories back, so it's my job to make sure I get all the little things for you included in your wedding photography.

LOVE IS .....GIVING YOUR HEART FREELY 💖

Mushy I know, but I had this on one of my duvet covers when I was a teenager and those little words have stayed with me ever since.

I remember back in the 70s/80s (giving away my age!) there used to be 'LOVE IS....' printed on all sorts of things with a little statement to follow. My mum bought me a Pierrot 🤡 clown duvet set in pink, black and white and it had that 'Love is....' message on it. To be honest, anything with clowns would freak me out a little now, but I'd always appreciate those words.

I truly believe that giving your heart away freely to another person is the true definition of Love!
