One of the biggest rules of photographing the Aurora Borealis is to use a tripod, so, naturally, I got caught out with no tripod when they hit the UK that Friday evening in May. So the car roof made for a substitute and ended up creating some quite interesting and unique photos.
Luckily for me, we were out for my mum's birthday and were driving back when we saw them, otherwise, like half the population of the UK, I probably would have slept straight through it all.

After years of wanting to travel around Scotland, I can finally post some photos of the trip! An absolutely stunning country, full of history and culture, and the most unpredictable weather! Can't wait to visit again!

The MAYFACS Shed is a community space to meet, chat, and create things. Activities are similar to those of garden sheds, but also include recreational activities. Intended to reduce isolation and loneliness, but most importantly, to be friendly and fun.

4 years ago today I headed off to Iceland, the land of panoramic views, where your camera angle never seems to be wide enough! Such an incredible island and I can't recommend driving the ring road enough, just make sure you have enough time to stop every 5 minutes to get the next best view!

Spring! Spring seems to be fast approaching, and whilst I was sat on the floor photographing these snowdrops, I was joined by a little honey bee going about his business, collecting a lot of pollen!

5 years ago I got to road trip around western Canada with a great friend. Still to this day, it is my favourite place, and I would love to go back one day. These are my 4 favourite photos from the trip. Who doesn't love an open road photo?! Just makes me want to travel!

With all this heat, it's reminding me of my trip to Mexico and Cuba... Whilst I struggle to hope with the heat here, it didn't stop me from exploring Mexico City, Cancun and Havana. So much amazing history and culture, I would love to return to Cuba and explore more!
