Some shots from Collateral at the Cornwall Rocks festival last year. These guys are such a great live act, and have been winning awards all over the place. They had some great tours booked for this year, which have had to be cancelled because of the dreaded corona virus measures. But all being well, they will be back on the road next year, so be sure to catch them then!

A few shots of Kazak playing at The Old Bakery's Independent Music Venue weekend. Having seen these guys a few months ago, it's great to see how much they have grown as a band in such a short space of time.

Another excellent night of live music at the Old Bakery in Truro featuring four bands. Kazak, who also organised this event, very ably kicked things off with their new three-piece format proving to be very effective, delivering an energetic set of their own songs. Enthusistic use of a smoke machine made for a very atmospheric set of photos!

Finally got to processing these after a very busy week! Fantastic gig from James Shead and his excellent band. An outstanding performance and really enthusiastic crowd made this a top quality night of music at this great venue. James Shead digs deep vocally and never fails to deliver a heartfelt performance. Combine this with a band that can shift from great power to nuanced subtlety in a blink, and you get a dynamic and highly engaging experience. King Creature made a rare appearance in a pub venue at The Old Ale House in Truro, promotong their new acoustic EP "To The Bone" (find it on Spotify, iTunes etc.). The place was rammed solid and they played a great set to a very enthusiastic crowd. It was so crowded that the space between the audience and the band was zero which made taking pictures pretty difficult, more of a cross between yoga and photography! 50 Year Storm were a great support band for this, hopefully I'll get to post some pics of them too soon :)

Going through the last year or so's work I came across these graphics I did for the Old Ale House Monday jam that I did using some of my photos and thought they make a nice set, so as they didn't get used in the end, thought I'd put them up in an album here.

Another set from the excellent punk night at the Old Bakery Studios in November, the totally rockin'Bastard sticking their anarchistic boot in with full force! A great set from these guys, never a dull moment, looking forward to the next one :)
(Apologies to Dave the drummer, I didn't get any shots I was happy with this time.)

Another night of great punk music at The Old Bakery Studios in Truro, headlined by the high-energy punk trio Pussycat and the Dirty Johnsons suported by the excellent Bastard and Waxx, pics to come soon when I get some time to sort them!). Hopefully they'll be back in Truro some time next year :)

Some shots from a few weeks ago, Hypophora were one of the Support acts for The Black Peaks at the Old Bakery Studios. They are there again tonight to launch their excellent new album "Douse". If you haven't seen them before go and check them out.
