Recently I spent an absolutely fantastic afternoon in one of my favourite places, doing something I love. I was incredibly fortunate to once again visit Skomer Island, photographing its wonderful Puffins. I was also lucky enough to enjoy beautiful weather on this my third visit to the idyllic island off the Pembrokeshire Coast. There are currently around 53,900 Puffins calling the island home, all busy raising their pufflings. It was the perfect opportunity to put my new camera through its paces, especially when photographing Puffins in flight. I was blown away by the autofocus system, which allowed me to capture some fantastic action shots. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed taking them. As always, I'd love to hear what you think of the photos.

There was so much to see and capture, from stunning show gardens and colourful floral displays to the many wonderful trade stands. Here are a few of my favourite photographs to give you a flavour of this fantastic new event and my day. If you're planning to visit over the next few days, you're in for a real treat. I'd love to know what you think of the collection.

My fourth and final post from this year’s fabulous Royal Ascot is a small selection of some of the celebrity guests who attended over the week. As always, Ascot attracts not only royalty and racing enthusiasts but also plenty of familiar faces from the worlds of film, television, music and sport, adding even more glamour to an already spectacular occasion.

Among those I photographed were American actor Stanley Tucci and his wife Felicity Blunt, television presenter Holly Willoughby, former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, former England football manager Gareth Southgate, and Strictly Come Dancing stars
Anton Du Beke and Giovanni Pernice.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my Royal Ascot highlights over the past week. It’s always one of the most enjoyable and rewarding events of my year to photograph

For my third post from four fantastic days photographing the fabulous Royal Ascot week, I’ve chosen a selection of general atmospheric images that capture the crowds, the racing, and the unique ambience of this incredible event.I hope these photographs convey some of the scale, excitement, glamour and grandeur that make Royal Ascot such a special occasion. As a photographer, it’s an absolute joy to capture moments like these to try and tell the story of the week
If you’ve never been, hopefully these images will give you a glimpse of what makes Royal Ascot so memorable. If you have attended, perhaps they’ll bring back a few happy memories of your own time there.

I’d love to hear what you think.

My second post from four wonderful days at Royal Ascot features a small selection of the fabulous fashion on display throughout the event. The fashion is one of the things that makes Ascot so special and unique, and it is always a highlight of the week—particularly on Ladies’ Day on Thursday. Designers and milliners were out in force once again, showcasing an incredible variety of styles. From elegant monochrome looks and soft pastel shades to bold, vibrant colours and more exotic creations, there was something to catch everyone’s eye.

I’d love to know what you think of these amazing outfits and which styles are your favourites.

I recently spent four exhausting, exhilarating, but thoroughly enjoyable days photographing Royal Ascot 2026, I thought I’d share a series of themed posts featuring some of my favourite images from the week.

It won’t surprise anyone who knows me that the first theme is The Royal Family. Over the four days, many senior members of the Royal Family attended, including The King and Queen Camilla, who were present every day. A particular highlight for both the crowds and photographers, myself included, was the appearance of The Prince and Princess of Wales on Wednesday.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to photograph this quintessentially British event—one that I always look forward to and genuinely love being part of.I hope you enjoy these photographs. As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts, so please let me know what you think.

Trooping the Colour 2026 - I was very lucky to be able to attend The King's Birthday Parade yesterday. It's always such an amazing spectacle and an event that makes me proud to be British. The weather couldn't have been better, with beautiful sunshine in London making the whole occasion even more colourful. The soldiers looked immaculate, and the precision of the Guards was amazing to see, all marching in perfect step. The King and Queen Camilla reviewed the assembled troops and were joined on horseback by Prince William, Princess Anne and Prince Edward. Princess Catherine was also on the dais to take the salute. Here are a few of my favourite photos from the parade and the Buckingham Palace balcony appearance and flypast

They say you should never meet your heroes, but recently I attended an event which proved that saying wrong! I was incredibly lucky to meet and photograph two of my all-time favourite sporting heroes, Lord Ian Botham and Sir Geoff Hurst. I've known Ian for more than 30 years and have photographed him on many occasions, but this was only the second time I've photographed Sir Geoff—and the first time I've had the opportunity to spend some time chatting with him. The occasion was the launch of the new Botham Legends Sparkling Wine, featuring the iconic image of Sir Geoff scoring the winning goal in the 1966 World Cup Final on the label. It was a fantastic event, and needless to say I had a wonderful time. I was absolutely delighted and honoured to be invited by Sarah Botham to photograph the launch. To top it all off, I came home with a bottle of the wine, personally signed by both sporting legends. Somehow, I don't think this one will ever be opened! A truly memorable day. Majestic Wine Sir Ian Botham

Another fantastic day at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show press day. I feel incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to photograph this fantastic event it's one of my favourite days of the year. Everywhere you looked there were magnificent gardens and stunning floral displays, making it a real feast for the senses. As always, I was there photographing both the incredible gardens and some of the famous faces attending the event. The day got off to a brilliant start with the Morecambe and Wise tribute act performing alongside Angela Rippon on one of the show gardens, recreating the iconic 1976 routine — such a joyful and nostalgic moment. It was also great to meet Stephen and Rachel, the winners from The Traitors series four. They were absolutely lovely people and a real pleasure to photograph. One of the highlights of the day for me was catching up with Rachel Riley again, and of course I had to grab a cheeky photo with her… it would have been rude not to! 🤣📸
