🎉 Turning ONE never looked so stylish! 🎉

This little birthday boy arrived ready to celebrate in the most adorable green romper, complete with a number one across the front and the cutest party hat to match.

The entire setup was beautifully coordinated, from the stunning shades of green and cream in the balloon arch to the gorgeous birthday cake waiting patiently for its starring role.

Before the cake-smashing began, we captured some lovely portraits of this handsome little man, and I think you'll agree he looked absolutely adorable!

Behind every newborn session is a family experiencing one of life's most incredible chapters ❤️

Meeting the proud parents of these beautiful twin girls was such a pleasure. Watching them look at their daughters with so much love and pride was every bit as heartwarming as photographing the babies themselves.

Welcoming one newborn into the world is a huge adjustment. Welcoming two at once is something truly extraordinary.

These precious early days pass in the blink of an eye, but the photographs from this session will always be there to remind them of just how tiny, sleepy and perfect their girls were at the very beginning of their story.

One of my favourite things about twin newborn sessions is capturing those precious moments when they are curled up together 💕

These two little girls spent much of their session happily snoozing side by side, creating the most beautiful photographs. Their tiny fingers, peaceful expressions, and natural connection made every image feel extra special.

It's amazing to think that after spending months together before birth, they still find so much comfort being close to one another.

These are the moments that pass by so quickly in those early newborn days, which is why preserving them through photographs is so meaningful.

Double the newborn cuddles, double the tiny details, and double the love 💕

These beautiful twin girls were an absolute dream to photograph. From their delicate flower headbands to their gorgeous little romper suits, every detail was simply adorable.

There is something so special about photographing twins. Watching them settle beside one another so naturally, already sharing that incredible bond they have known since before they were born, is always a privilege to capture.

Their session was filled with peaceful sleepy moments and plenty of heart-melting images that I'm so excited to share over the next few posts.

MR & MRS CRABB 🦀 // CAN YOU GUESS THE THEME 🦀❤️ what can I say, what such a fun day it was!! Zoe had a vision and brought it spectacularly to life!! She designed and created 99% of these decorations and her reactions to the entire day were super emotional and so wonderful to witness - I have taken so many photos of the day, probably the most I have ever 🤣 it was so fun!!! This gorgeous birthday girl fully embraced her cake smash session 🎂🩷

From icing-covered fingers to the sweetest smiles, she had the BEST time exploring her birthday cake… and her older sisters were more than happy to jump in and help eat some cake alongside her too!

Those extra little moments between siblings always make these sessions even more special. The laughter, the chaos and the genuine excitement create the most beautiful memories to capture.

One thing I absolutely love alongside cake smash sessions is capturing beautiful family photographs too 🤍

This gorgeous family came into the studio to celebrate their little one turning ONE with a fun cake smash session, but whilst they were here, we also made time for some relaxed family photographs together… and they even brought the family dog along too!

Now, if there’s one thing that makes me love a session even more, it’s when a pet joins in 🐾 I am completely obsessed with including your furry family members wherever possible because they are such a huge part of your story too.

The result was a gallery full of genuine smiles, cuddles, chaos, laughter and memories that feel so them as a family. Those are always my favourite kinds of photographs.

What a fun way to celebrate turning ONE 💙

This gorgeous little boy came into the studio for his cake smash session surrounded by the most beautiful balloon arch in stunning shades of blue, creating the perfect setup for such a special milestone.

Complete with a beautifully simple cake covered in hundreds and thousands, he had the BEST time digging in, making a mess and enjoying every second… all whilst his adorable cuddly giraffe sat proudly watching from the side-lines! 🦒

These sessions are always full of smiles, laughter and personality, and they are such a lovely way to celebrate your little one’s first birthday whilst capturing memories you’ll treasure forever.

This week I welcomed the sweetest baby boy into my cosy home studio here in Trowbridge for a beautifully simple newborn session 🤍

No complicated setups, no over-styling, just soft muslin wraps, natural posing, and those tiny newborn details captured from every angle while he slept peacefully throughout. We also captured a couple of beautiful photographs with Mum and Dad too - simple, timeless memories that will mean even more as the years pass by.

One thing I always want parents to know is that your newborn session can be anything you want it to be. Whether you love minimal, fuss-free photographs or something a little more styled, these sessions are all about capturing your family in a way that feels natural and true to you.
