Happy New Year to each and everyone of you!
Ok - I'm a bit late to the New Years party, but I have good reason. I was procransinating as I usually do, but decided to give myself a kick up the bum.
I haven't done a round up of 2021 as I took some time out to do some soul searching and I have to admit in the early part of the year I had lost my mojo a little.
If you've read my end of year blog from 2019, you'll know that I spoke about writing my blogs from the heart and not just for Google. That particular blog was hard to write as we had found out that year that my dad had stage 4 cancer.
2020 was a bitch on more than one level, not just because of covid but we lost my husbands Nan two weeks into lockdown. In September 2020 my dad passed away, which I guess didn't give me the greatest start into 2021.
I have a lot of people to thank for their love and support throughout that difficult time, but there isn't enough room on here!. A friend once said to me that the hurt would never go away, but it would get easier with time. And she was right.
I do, however, need to thank some amazing photographers that I got to shoot for during the year - , , and - it's always a pleasure working with you :) I also had the opportunity to work with someone new - an absolutely awesome photographer! Shooting again made me realise that it doesn't matter how bad things get there is still love in the world, and no pandemic can kill that. Cheesey, but true 🤷🏽♀️ Thank you to my wonderful clients - .cotter, , for being just that and a huge congratulations to you all. I wish you all the best.
So what's for 2022? A new website, some new business goals, lots of lists of all the things I want to achieve, spending more time with my family and shooting the weddings of some gorgeous new clients - , and laurenhill184 - see you in 2022!!
Much love to you all, take care, look after yourselves and watch this space
