What a week it's been working with Dark Matter Promotions!

Tuesday was the American powerhouse duos, Tremours and Ceremony East Coast, with the ever-amazing Red Tin Dave keeping the vibe going all night.

And then yesterday, pumped up punk and blistering vocals with a northern trip of bands Barbarism, The Dirt and Nothingheads.

If you're heading to a Dark Matter gig, you know you won't be the same after it!

Another amazing Dark Matter Promotions night at the Golden Lion!

Zoltar's set the tone with a blistering opening set that got everyone bouncing.

Not to be outdone, The Incident came up and put on a show that you couldn't take your eyes off.

When we thought it couldn't get any better, Easter took to the stage and had everyone going wild with their folk / alt-90s mayhem!

Yet again, Lou put on a night that showed the best the indie music scene has to offer!

I love this shot. The layering works really well, there's a story in every corner of the picture - from the woman crossing the road to the fella peering through the shop window, there's always something to see.

I've been spending time walking around Elland before work and during lunch. I wanted to document the space as it is now.

Elland is going through a change. There's been a lot of investment recently and you can see the town is starting to shake off the dust and prepare for its new beginning. These things take time but if I waited, these changes would have happened and I'd have the after without a before.

There's a lot of history in the town and it's fair to say that the town has been neglected over the years. Now, the community is coming together to not only keep it alive but regenerate and rejuvenate it.
