Why is the froggy pose so popular in newborn photography?

It looks cute and simple, but this pose needs careful technique and support. Baby’s head and neck are not yet strong enough to hold the position independently, so safety always comes first.

The final froggy image is created as a composite of two photos. A photographer supports baby in each image, then combines the photos during editing to create the finished pose. This means baby is never left holding the pose alone. No forcing, no rushing, just gentle handling and careful attention throughout the session.
