Hester wanted to incorporate her bike into our brand shoot as this is how she gets to visit her clients living around her London base. Plus Hester is Dutch and loves her bicycle, so it had to feature!​​​​​​​​

We had some fun doing this panning shot and it took several goes to get right. I love that my clients are up for a bit of fun and experimenting.​​​​​​​​

After a week of reflection we say goodbye to our Queen and thank you for your long service, leadership, compassion and grace.

So sad to hear about the Queen’s death today.
Time to remember what a remarkable woman she was. Such strength, compassion and grace.
Thank you for your life of service.
Rest in peace. 💕

On a brand photo shoot we start from the point at which you feel most comfortable.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
Having spent a decade working as a documentary photographer, the way I worked was all about telling a story in the most unobtrusive way possible and letting my clients feel relaxed and at ease. ​​​​​​​​
It worked. ​​​​​​​​
I got the kind of photos that my clients cherished and felt looked their best, natural selves.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
So you'll understand if I don't give you '5 best ways' posing tips and put you into awkward positions on a photo shoot.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
When you look at your photos I want them to sing about your authenticity and personality, not if your arms and elbows were in the right place. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
This happens because we incorporate some action and movement if possible, I guide NOT direct and we get to know each other so much so that we feel connected before we even begin.​​​​​​​​

Faux dried style burgundy hydrangea… what a hit you have been this autumn! Looking forward to showing these off at the Henley Christmas Fair next week!

Yesterday I had a really thought provoking mini branding session with 🌸⁣

So I’m in a pensive mood evaluating what people want from Nature (Contained) and what I’m best placed to give 🧐⁣
⁣
I’m not about the high production levels of mass terrariums or making something super pricey just as an ornament for someone who thinks they should get a terrarium because they are trendy 💵⁣
⁣
At heart I want to help people find the same joy that plants give to me, take the uncertainty away and encourage people to⁣ learn from their plant fails not give up! 💚⁣
⁣
So I’m thinking more how-to’s, demos, plant profiles, maintenance and pest advice. A place to come for practical help to get you growing your own green fingers with confidence 🌱⁣
⁣
And of course beautiful ready made terrariums for sale or to commission your own make 😍⁣
⁣
I like to think of terrariums as a gateway drug to gardening for people who think they are natural born plant killers! ☠️ Redemption is available to everyone who persists! 😇⁣

My lovely client has some new flowers in stock. Loving all the shades of green. 💚

Is anyone else still clinging on to their pumpkins? Our cream, spearmint and speckled mini pumpkins are still looking their best! We had fun styling them with the pistachio dried style hydrangea, green autumn berries and a mass of greens! Fresh, revitalising and earthy 👌🍃🌱
