Harriet's Houses

Harriet's Houses Bespoke and truly unique house, business and venue illustration. Illustrations are painted by hand, using watercolour, and added details in pencil and ink.

I work from photographs to create totally handmade, and unique architectural illustrations. My illustrations are created using a range of mixed media including watercolour, acrylic, ink and crayon, they can then be finished off with my trademark stitch to add detail and depth to the pieces. I take commissions so feel free to get in touch, prices start from £95.

On a serious note, I was sad to hear of a few lovely shops closing their doors soon. Let’s hope that some other fabulous businesses can replace them on Newport High Street 🤞🤞

Phew!😮‍💨 Well, this has been my busiest summer to date 🎨 with so many lovely orders flying out to places all over the uk, but also as far as New Zealand and Singapore! ✈️

It’s been a real juggle this summer and I’m sending out a big high five to all the parents trying to juggle work with child care! 🤹

I have some big changes approaching, with a return to university, I will be temporarily closing my house illustration business while I retrain as an Art Therapist🤓 (a long term dream!) so I will only be accepting orders for the next four weeks and have approximately 10 spaces left available for house portrait illustrations. I have closed my Not on the high street shop, and will only be taking orders directly through myself (Facebook/ instagram/email)

This feels like an exciting and emotional time for me. I have been running this little business for the past 12 years alongside raising our three children-it really does feel like my fourth baby!
I want to thank everyone who has supported me in my business venture, it really has been hugely appreciated! 🧡

Street scenes will be available soon and I will let you all know when and where they will be available asap! Xx
