Finnish slide guitar goddess, and HRH 'Angel of Rock', Erja Lyytinen ripping up the O2 Academy Islington last night on the UK leg of her 'Smell The Roses' album tour.

Records do not do this lady justice, Lyytinen is 1000% better live! What a fun and engaging show it was!

I first saw this lady live about a decade ago and I though she was amazing then. Fast forward 10 years and she is on a completely different level!

MilkFest at indigo at The O2 was an unforgettable celebration of British Blues, bringing together an incredible lineup of artists for a powerful cause. The event was the brainchild of Adam Norsworthy (The Milk Men - Band) and was made possible with huge help from Mark Ede and AAA Entertainments, all in support of The Brain Tumour Charity.

I had the privilege of photographing this special day, capturing the energy, passion, and magic of the performances.

I can't believe it's been almost a week since the awesome inaugural MilkFest in London at indigo at The O2. The festival was principally organised by Adam Norsworthy of The Milk Men (with huge support from many other people) in support of The Brain Tumour Charity.

MilkFest is a special one-day festival to celebrate the history of British Blues and raise money for charity.

The festival featured some of the biggest names on the British blues scence including The Milk Men - Band, The Cinelli Brothers, Paul Jones & Dave Kelly (The Blues Band), Jo Harman & Guests, Mollie Marriott, Toby Lee, When Rivers Meet, and Dr. Feelgood, with some very special guest apperances.

I had the immense pleasure of capturing all the fantastic artists playing at the event which the images soon to be on sale. The proceeds of the sale of these images will go to the charity. Watch this space for more info.
