The next session coming from Autumn 2024 is a little indoor one with this gorgeous little boy! A relaxed indoor set up, time for outfit changes and lots of time for play and exploration, which often leads to a much more genuine interaction between little ones and the camera 🥹

Next up is another from the 2024 Autumn/Winter mini sessions 🍂
It feels like forever since I have been to this woodland but it makes a great backdrop for cosy shoots 🍁
This is a great example of how a mini session can be just what a family needs when getting some updates shots altogether and those of you who have had a session will now that I’m very efficient, rarely stick to the time and allow time to talk before so you get maximum shooting time 📷

When I was editing recently, I had that moment I often have where I edited a photo in black and white (or a more warmer version than my previous edits from years ago) and then I instantly was like no no no ewwwww this doesn’t work and I wondered whether people ever feel the same? Or whether clients wonder why I only edit some like this? It’s a weird little feeling I get where certain photos just look perfect in black and white (in my opinion!) and others just don’t! I often find the details, like hands, feet, close ups (with no eyes or teeth on show usually - I can’t explain why!?) or shots with movement, out of focus parts or more bokeh - does anyone else get this!?
Anyway, this thought led me to look through the last couple years of posting black and white images and I thought I’d share some here now! It’s interesting to see for myself how my edits have changed over the years too and I am so happy with what I’ve learnt and tried and hopefully deliver in galleries now 💕
And this is another example of how procrastination has won rather than me actually sharing the next shoot from 2024 😆

I am trying super hard to start posting regularly again so I have to rewind all the way back to autumn 2024 - ridiculous...
