MOTHER'S DAY MINIS!

I am thrilled to announce that I am running mother's day mini sessions at on Saturday 28th February.

After becoming a mama myself I realised just how much we sit behind the camera and very rarely get in front of it. We're constantly snapping away capturing our precious little ones with other loved ones, but unless we ask it's very rarely us that gets to be in the picture. For this reason I want to give my fellow Somerset mamas an opportunity to get in front of the camera and get some beautiful images with their babies!

These sessions are open to mamas of little ones of all ages plus mamas-to-be!

Yesterday was a wonderful start to 2026 weddings with Grace & Aaron at
It may have been a wet and windy one but the mood couldn't have been further from gloomy! It was a truly magical day filled with laughter, tears and lots of love.

Elevate your wedding with these 3 things...

1. Beautiful personalised vow and speech cards - don't read your vow or speech from a folded up piece of paper, or even worse a phone! Ask your stationery to make you some gorgeous cards/booklets which look great in photos, add a little something extra and give you something pretty to keep!

2. A Celebrant led ceremony - yes OK it's not legally binding (you can do that bit at the registry office!) but a Celebrant led wedding is so special. Instead of the quick fire, run of the mill registrar ceremony you get a wonderful personalised celebration that incorporates your story, enables you to take your time and just generally makes the whole experience way more you.

3. Speeches before dinner - trust me! You've envisioned and designed this beautiful reception space, from the flowers to the favours, so why wouldn't you want your speech photos to show it at it's best? Do them before to ensure your wedding photos capture your vision before your guests inevitably make a mess of it 😅

This year my business has had to take a little step back whilst I navigated my new life, new normal and new me. But in 2026... We're gonna thrive! It's not going to be easy because I'm also heading back to the 9-5, although part time initially at least, but this year off with my little girl has made me realise even more so how much I want this business thriving and successful. Let's do this!

Analogue

Day 23 of allows us to reflect upon what the digital age means for weddings. More couples are opting for wedding websites instead of printed invitations, more vows and speeches are being delivered from phones. But I personally believe these are little touches that shouldn't be modernised. There's nothing nicer than receiving a beautiful invitation suite making you feel like a VIP, personalised vow books elevating your ceremony photos or the giggles that comes from watching the nervous shakes of the paper during speeches. None of these are quite the same in digital format.

I think some things in life deserve to stay analogue.
