It really is so lovely when parents choose to come back with their newborn to capture their bump to baby journey 🫶

When to have a maternity photoshoot? - When you are 27-34 weeks pregnant
When to have a newborn photoshoot? - Ideally within the first 3 weeks of babies life, I pre-book clients for 2 weeks after their due dates

It's the outfits - Momma smashed it with making sure they were coordinated - 2 colours that compliment the cappuccino background and no heavy patterns, just simple textures and that's what will make this photo timeless

Safe in his parents hands ✨

I completely understand that you might have reservations about being in front of the camera so soon after having your baby - but I also know how important these family images will become not only for you, but also for your little one as they grow up!

Over the years I have developed a range of creative options to create images that focus on the bond between you and your baby. Like capturing just your hands cradling your baby, without the pressure of a full portrait.

I cannot explain how excited I am to share this photo with you, I LOVE special requests

Dad hand painted the letters on the tire pink and they brought the perfect pink checkered headband for little one to match - and it works so well!!

Baby safety - I explained to the parents exactly what I would be doing and about safety procedures too and that I will try but only if little one was up for it and that my back up plan would be to photograph everything separately and create a composite in Photoshop.
To create this image little one's Dad had his hands holding the tire so it didn't move and his hand behind her and I spotting the front so little one wasn't left at all.

She smashed it and made sure her parent's got their dream photo!
