Jeff's dugs.
On Tuesday night I found myself parked up in Tain in the Highlands of Scotland . If things had gone to plan I would have been somewhere else - I was never supossed to have been in Tain but due to bad weather and shipping delays there I was . Around 22.00 I started seeing alerts going out that there could be a Northern Lights display from 23.00- 23.30 so I got the tripod and camera out and took a stroll down towards a bench I'd noticed earlier with a nicely carved dog at each end of it hoping it would add some foreground intrest .
Turns out it was a memorial bench.
It also would have been Jeffs 71st birthday that day .
Coincidence or fate - I have no Idea but after posting a similar pic on a Facebook group (Highland Scenery)it received lots of attention and ended up with well over 3300 likes - one of my most liked pics so far
