My grandpa Valentin Bitutskiy was Russian from Ekaterinburg, my grandma Elena Bondarenko, was Ukrainian, from Kharkiv. They met in Germany while 2nd World War in comps. After war they were separated but my grandpa found the way to find my grandma and married her, and my mum was born in 1954 in Ekaterinburg. Mum lived all her life in Kharkiv. Met my dad, got married, got me in 1979! Lived all her life there, Died there, buried there. Her grave is in our family plot in a grave yard, if you are family or close friends - you know where it is.
