Sometimes, if you are a street photographer who shoots in colour, there are scenes that demand to be converted to black and white. This small selection from a trip to Malaga are examples of that. We've been for a week in Malaga. Yes, we were there during the power outage, with no cash! It was an adventure, but we found beer, salad and crisps. What more do you need? Here are a few street photos from the trip, including the queue at the one working cash machine, on power outage day. The city is very walkable, with plenty to see and do, and no one seemed to mind a stray photographer. Here are my favourite dozen colour street photos. This set were created with black and white in mind, or I decided that monochrome worked best during the edit. It's a regular consideration - as I discussed in my last post. They were all created over two days in London. In both cases we walked from Brick Lane to Southbank (day 1) or The City (day 2). It's quite a switch to move from abundant urban graffiti to the clean lines, reflections and shiny surfaces of the modern buildings....
