A stomp along the local stretch of the South West Coast Path on Saturday to take in some Vitamin Sea goodness via the drone and phone. Not sure what was wetter, the path or the sea!!!! 🤣

The wind finally calmed down just enough on Saturday for me to launch one of the drones without it immediately emigrating to France 😉. Managed to grab some video of the storm’s leftovers smashing into the promenade — and credit where it’s due, the temporary flood defences actually behaved themselves and saved a lot of flooding and damage.
Safe to say I was slightly nervous flying in those conditions… but the drone handled it like an absolute champ and returned home without issue or demanding hazard pay.

Some of the best waves, lights and overall conditions I've witnessed in all my years living here in Swanage.... Just WOW...
