You already know this - this isn't about posing perfectly or perfect outfits. It's about being together - really together - and letting me see you as you are.
How he looks at you when he's seven. How curious she is about everything - ladybirds, planes, the way the world works. Your almost-teenager letting you hold them for a second, and it feeling exactly like the baby days again.
I often say photography is poetry. Not because of the words, but because of the feelings it leaves behind. The pause between heartbeats. The tiny details you didn't notice at the time. The way love looks when it's just being.
A time capsule. Small truths stitched together in light. Something to open when the years start moving faster than you expected.
You hired me to take your photos. But what you really did was help yourself remember.

Most people don't know what to do in front of a camera. That's not a problem - that's just where we start.
"We want photos that feel straight out of a movie" - and somehow, even with all the supposedly awkward in-betweens and forgetting how arms work, that's exactly what we got.

You trusted me with moments that can never happen again.

And I don’t think photographers talk enough about how huge that is.

Every family here is someone who believed in my vision enough to let me tell their story. Their chaos, softness, tiny details, cuddles, growing babies, real love.

I’ll never take that lightly.

“Every client is a reminder that someone believed in your vision.”

If you ever wonder what a newborn session really feels like,
it feels a lot like this.

Love that’s gentle, yet strong all at once.

Also, everytime I shoot newborns I feel extremely privileged to be able to witness those very first days.

This isn’t about Christmas trees.
It’s about hands reaching, bodies leaning closer,
parents instinctively lowering themselves to a child’s height.

No posing instructions shouted over the wind.
Just parents crouching, lifting, laughing.
A toddler discovering that the world is very big and very green.

Nothing here is arranged.
It’s what happens when you’re allowed to be exactly as you are.

It wasn’t made to impress. It was made to be real.

Does this time of year make you want to slow down…
