She's not just my second shooter… she's also one of my best friends 🤍
Which means I get to spend wedding days working alongside someone I completely trust, who knows exactly how I work (and quite often what I'm thinking before I've even said it 😂).
She'll be capturing the moments happening where I'm not, spotting the things I haven't seen, calming the chaos, making me laugh… and there's a very good chance you'll find the two of us having a little dance at the disco once the party gets going. 💃
We take the job seriously. But ourselves? Slightly less so.
Very lucky that I get to work with one of my favourite people. 🤍

A few handy tips I’ve picked up along the way as a wedding photographer.

- PRACTICE! Shoot at every opportunity. Play with light, angles, settings.
- Make friends with suppliers. I've met sone amazing people.
- Go to workshop, practice, play, network + get inspired. - Keep couple prompts on your phone for when you go blank - it happens!
- Having the groups list or order of the day as your screen saver is sooo handy!
- Imposter syndrome is a real thing. Don't let it stunt your growth
- Ask the couple to get a trusted guest to gather guests for the group pics. We don't know who auntie Karen is but they do.
- Keep an emergency kit in your bag. I've used everything in it at some point.
- Don't compare yourself to others. Find your style.
- keep learning, keep experimenting. Evolve.
