A convincing win for Cleadon CC over Hylton CCC.
There were some great individual performances on both sides but Cleadon the stronger.
Well done both teams and congratulations to Cleadon.

As the weekend approaches my thoughts turn to local clubs and teams who are competing. This week I have been invited to photograph at Cleadon CC’s Oakleigh Gardens ground where they’re hosting Hylton Colliery CC.
It’s my first time at Oakleigh and I’m very much looking forward to the game.

Match starts at 13:30, why not come along and take in the atmosphere as well as supporting these local clubs.

I had a fantastic day photographing Wearside FC U13’s at their League Cup Final on Saturday 9th May. The weather was awful but this didn’t dampen the spirits of either team. Both giving their all from KO to final whistle.
Sadly it wasn’t to be Wearside’s day as AJX FC took the honours with a narrow victory.
Both teams should be very proud of their performances, and whilst congratulations go to the winners, a special shout out goes to Wearside. Who managed to push their disappointment aside and cheered their opponents as they raised the trophy.

Delighted to be asked to photograph Wearside FC U13’s tomorrow. KO is 12:00 at the Russell Foster Centre, Newbottle. I’ll be there from 11:15 to capture the warm ups and pre-cup final atmosphere.
