This is just too cute! Holding his tiny little foot, I can almost picture him in mum’s belly—so cosy, wrapped up, holding his toes. Babies love this ‘womb pose,’ where their arms and legs peek out just like before, because it feels safe and familiar… a little reminder of the snug, comforting world they came from.

Hi everyone! I thought it was time to re-introduce myself. 😊

I’m Cara, the face behind Cara Mia Photography. I’m a newborn and family photographer, and I spend most of my days in the studio capturing those tiny toes, sleepy snuggles, and beautiful family portraits to adorn your walls and treasure.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me out hiking, enjoying the outdoors baking something, spending time with my husband, David or curled up cosy on the sofa with tv or a book. I am very much a GoGoGo or stop in my tracks person. There’s no in between.

Photography means so much to me because it lets me freeze those little moments that pass by far too quickly—especially in those early newborn days.
