Some favourites throwbacks from a big day out testing bikes.

A couple of mechanicals, heavy weather changes and Rob enjoying the comical value of me descending with a heavily loaded camera bag made it an interesting day.

But one of those days where everything clicked. The weather, landscape and Robā€™s riding brought the work together!

A series of portraits and action shots captured for last year. These were published in the ā€œRaised on Wavesā€ special edition - focused on the UK & Irish surf community.

It was a super cold morning , frozen wetsuits and ice on Bens surfboards. A big thanks to the team for sticking at it with numb fingers, holding flashes in the water, smashing BTS and capturing the story.

Inspired by an afternoon in the print shop working on a limited run.

Well Itā€™s been a while friends!

I have shot so much over the last couple of years that I canā€™t share. Stills and video tied up in campaigns and long term projects. Ready to be posted in the coming months.

The last three years I have poured myself into one long term project in particular. Itā€™s insane how these larger pursuits can shape your life and how demanding they can be. But I have learnt so much on the road. Something that seems ā€œsimpleā€ can take years to make right. You could cut corners and push something out, but it would be such a waste not to not produce the finish and quality it deserves, just because things got tough.

Many sleepless nights questioning, why are we doing this? Is it worth the time? But thereā€™s something that oddly keeps you coming back. The wee wins. A gut feeling that this is solid.

Itā€™s hard always hard for others to fully understand the vision, the hours and hurdles. Ye just got to craic on.

This one goes out to all the creatives on the grind. The team and people we have worked with on said project - you know who you are.

Stick at it and follow your gut! You got this.
