There has been plenty said about repair and refurbishment services and hubs opening up, which is great news.
I must have replaced at least 6-7 domestic A4 inkjet printers over the last 20 odd years, however I want to share an exception . . .
I bought my EPSON Pro 4000 17" roll printer back in early 2008 which makes it 18 years old this year!!
It's had one service and still prints beautifully on PermaJet papers using genuine archival Pigment Inks.
Admittedly the 220ml cartridges x8 cost upwards of £120 each, but they last for over a year! These days both pro 'and consumer printers sell with smaller cartridges in more colours making it proportionally more expensive to fill up.
I hope my Pro 4000 keeps going for a few more years - I'm 'touching wood'.
