A couple of nights ago, Tina reached out asking if it would be possible to conduct a further search in the hope of finding Chevana, a Border Collie cross.

The deployment took place late in the evening under optimal weather conditions, with full landowner permission granted prior to flight operations. The search was conducted strictly within VLOS (Visual Line of Sight) at all times and in accordance with safe operating procedures.

Thermal imaging equipment was utilised to maximise visibility and detection capability during the search, with particular attention given to hedgerows, field margins, wooded areas, and likely shelter locations. Conditions on the night were highly favourable for aerial thermal searching. As can be seen from the imagery captured during the operation, animals as small as a hare were successfully detected and identified through the thermal system, demonstrating the effectiveness and sensitivity of the equipment used throughout the search.

Kelley, reached out this evening requesting assistance. The message was received, and CDPS liaised with another individual who provided the coordinates. Once a suitable location was identified, the CDPS Enterprise Thermal Drone was deployed to conduct a search of the surrounding area.

The operation was conducted within Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) at all times, in accordance with UK CAA requirements. The aircraft's thermal imaging and optical zoom capabilities were utilised to effectively search and assess areas at distance while maintaining VLOS throughout the flight.

Search Metrics
• Area searched: approximately 254,000 m² (63 acres)
• Distance covered: 2.10 km (1.30 miles)

An Update from CDPS: Digital Infrastructure Enhancements 🛠️

CDPS is currently implementing strategic changes to digital company infrastructure to ensure all processes remain streamlined and localised for clients. Below are the current developments:

1) - Localised Server Migration: Data is being moved to CDPS-owned hosting. By transitioning to local servers, reporting and file-sharing security and reliability are prioritised. These systems are expected to be partially operational by the end of this week.

2) - New Website & Domain: Also self hosted is a brand-new digital home for CDPS website is currently under construction. This includes a transition to a new, shorter domain name to provide a more user-friendly experience. Development is ongoing, and the final result will be shared once complete.

3) - Virtual Tour Hosting: Exploration into the addition of virtual tour hosting for clients is underway. Due to high-level technical requirements, this specific service will be managed via a specialist third-party provider to ensure optimum performance. This will remain controlled by a third party until the CDPS infrastructure has the capability to host these high-demand files directly.

Day-to-day operations remain unaffected; however, some slight delays may occur as this transition takes place. CDPS apologises for any inconvenience caused. For any enquiries, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thank you for the continued support during these system upgrades. 🚀

A member of the public recently reached out to us after their little furry friend accidentally escaped. After coordinating with the owner, we arranged to meet and search different areas and the story has now even reached Stoke-on-Trent Live

The community has really pulled together in the effort to find Buster, the little Shih Tzu. Unfortunately, our initial searches were not successful, but we remain hopeful that Buster is safe and will be reunited with his family as soon as possible.

If anyone would like to get involved or stay updated, there is a dedicated Facebook group for Buster here:
