My first ever 'double wedding' week* - had an absolute blast filming with the wonderful Emma & Siobhan, and Julia & Rob.

* And all with what turns out is probably a chest infection. The fact I managed to not have a coughing fit during either ceremony truly is a gift from the gods.

I think the new year is so awesome as an engaged couple.

My most popular wedding package is the ‘Sun Up to Moon Rise’ package, which includes a whole day’s wedding shoot.

And when I say a whole day, I mean it.

The last thing I want for you on your wedding day is for you to be looking at your watching thinking ‘argh, we haven’t done the sparklers yet, but the videographer says she’s got to leave at 9pm.’

Instead, I get there when you want me to in the morning, and head home when you’ve had enough of your dancing being filmed (or when an uncle ties his tie round his noggin - that’s normally another good indication!).

Rather than going off timing, I go off events. So at one wedding, one of the brides had planned a special dance with her brother, so I stayed until they’d wowed everyone with that.

If you’ve got a part of your day you want on video, with this package, I make sure I’m there to capture it.

I spend loads of time getting to know you both as a couple - it’s a big responsibility making sure your wedding video reflects your personalities.

Before booking with me, with have a chat to learn more about each other. After all, I’m there on your wedding day - you’ll want to know that we’re a match!

There’s a £500 deposit to pay at the point of booking to secure your date, and the remaining balance is paid three weeks before your wedding date.

And with a few weeks to go, we’ll have another chat to go through all of the details of your day, where you can highlight anything you’re desperate to be included in your video.

Maybe you’ll send me a picture of a relative that you really want to be involved, or perhaps there’s a dance routine you’ve got planned with your mates that just HAS to be in the video.

Whatever it is, you let me know, and I’ll make it happen.

All of my videos are totally bespoke to the couple I’m working with, so all of this time getting to know you beforehand means the finished video is completely personalised.

And in the *extremely* unlikely event you watch it back and think I’ve missed something, there’s a free set of revisions included in the price of the video as well, so you can make changes to it.

Seriously considering dressing up as a camera for Halloween... seems like nothing gets people running scared like the possibility of being filmed!!

But if the idea of having your wedding day filmed is giving you nightmares, I do take the fear factor out of the process...

When I’m filming your wedding, I’m like a Victorian child dressed in camo – I’ll be seen and not heard but even then, I’m pretty hard to spot.

I focus on filming the big moments and capturing little behind-the-scenes style shots in between, so I won’t be requesting any poses – in fact, the most you’ll see of me is when I’m mic’ing you up for vows or speeches.

I want you to relax and enjoy your day - and quite often that means noticing me as little as possible!

The bridal magazines will probably all be a bit too traditional, and the buzzfeed listicles could be way off the mark.

This small piece of metal might not look like much, but it absolutely saved the florists' bacon one wedding day this year.

It normally just attaches magnetically to the bottom of my camera, and I use it when screwing on and tightening tripod plates.

But one wedding this year, I was setting up, and hear the florist start panicking that they were missing a metal attachment for their magnetic button holes.

Being a Saturday morning, and no option to get another one at short notice, I offered this thing up for them to use instead.

It'd have been so easy to keep my trap shut, but that's absolutely not what I, and the vast majority of suppliers, are like on wedding days.

While we've all got our individual roles, our ultimate goal is to make sure everything runs smoothly, and to help you have the best day possible.

As part of the Sun Up to Moon Rise package, you get me covering as much of your wedding day as you want.

I work on events of the day, and not a clock. I don’t want you looking at your watch and thinking ‘oh god, the videographer says she’s leaving at 10pm, but we’ve not done the sparklers yet’.

While normally I find the optimal time to sneak away and let you enjoy your evening is when an uncle puts his tie around his noggin, I’m happy staying for longer if you like.

And this was definitely the case with Sheryl and Jodie’s wedding at Inglewood Manor in Ellesmere Port.

At every single family party, Jodie's brother dances to Ice Ice Baby.

So naturally, she wanted me to stick around to capture this, and I was more than happy to oblige.

Thank god I did. For one it was absolutely hilarious, but also you can tell that he and Jodie are having the best time, and that’s absolutely what I want to get across in your wedding video.

I want it to be fun, and every time you watch the video I want you to enjoy it as much as you did the first time round.
