I'm considering offering a new service and would love to know if it's something parents and carers would be interested in....

"Take Better Pictures of Your Kids" is a 1 hour one-to-one photography workshop for parents who want to capture better memories of their children.
Bring whatever camera you have, whether that's a phone, DSLR or mirrorless camera. We'll cover lighting, composition, capturing genuine moments, and for camera users, the basics of shooting in manual mode.
The session will take place on location with your child or children, allowing you to learn in real-life situations rather than a classroom environment.
Professional family photographs are a wonderful investment, but so are the thousands of everyday moments in between. This workshop is designed to give you the skills and confidence to document your children's lives more beautifully for years to come.
Launch price: £125
The first 5 bookings will receive the workshop at this introductory rate. After that, the price will increase to £150.

Family sessions!
With half term in full swing it's the perfect time to get some family pictures sorted with the kids. Those wonky grins, the lil gap-toothed smiles, wild curls, muddy knees and endless energy...
One day, they'll stop being so little and you will wonder where the years went and you'll wish you could go back for just five minutes.
Family photos aren't about getting everyone to smile perfectly at the camera. They're about freezing the chaos exactly as it is.
So if you've been saying, "We'll book something next year," this is your reminder... they won't be this little next year!

Now taking bookings for relaxed, fun family sessions across Staffordshire. No awkward posing, no forced smiles, just your family being wonderfully, beautifully yourselves. I realised the other day that I hadn't took my pair out for a while so we went on a lil adventure and I managed to get some ready to pop up on the walls once I've redecorated.
Sessions are currently at a reduced rate of £150. They include a 45min session out and about and a whole gallery full of love of fun. Dm to book x

I bloody love an elopement.
No awkward seating plans. No pressure to invite your mum's cousin because they'll be offended. No timelines packed so tightly you barely get five minutes together.
Just the two of you, doing things your way.
There's something really special about photographing a wedding when it's stripped back to what it's actually about. You get to slow down, breathe, wander through beautiful places hand in hand and soak up every second of it. It's intimate, emotional and unapologetically you.
This gorgeous York elopement was exactly that. We wandered the cobbled streets, stopped whenever the light caught my eye and created photographs that felt honest and effortless. And Maura snd Dimitri were giving main character vibes, they were congratulated and photographed by so many passers by!
If the thought of a big traditional wedding makes you want to hide under a blanket, please know that eloping is more than enough. You don't need 100 guests or a huge budget to have a meaningful wedding day.
You just need the person you're choosing.
And if you fancy running off somewhere beautiful, bring me with, I'll happily come along with my cameras and probably cry a lil when you say your vows

A little call out for some very special families ❤️

Now that summer has finally arrived, I'm officially taking bookings for family sessions again. If you've been putting off updating the family photos, this is your sign.

But I'm also looking for something a little different...

I'd absolutely love to photograph an elderly couple in their home. The kettle on, old photographs scattered across the table, the places they've sat together for decades, the little looks and gestures that only come from a lifetime spent side by side.

If you have parents, grandparents or relatives celebrating a Golden Wedding Anniversary (or any milestone anniversary really), this would make an incredibly meaningful gift. These photographs will be there for children, grandchildren and generations to come to cherish.

I'm offering these sessions at a model rate of £150. In return, you'll be happy for me to use the images on my website and social media. These sessions are relaxed, documentary-style and all about preserving memories exactly as they are.

My standard family sessions are £200 and include:
A relaxed outdoor or at-home session
A full digital gallery
(Minimum of 30 hand edited images)
Black and white copies of every image included
