As well as having 3 of my own I have been photographing children for around 7 years. I also offer newborn sessions for under 14 day old babies to capture the most special memories of their first days.

It might be the middle of Summer but it is time to start thinking about Xmas sessions.
I am looking at backdrops at the moment and hoping for some inspiration!
What do we think the vibe should be this year? Fireplace, Traditional, Shop front, Forest? Bright and vibrant or more neutral? What do people fancy?

The beautiful weather last week gifted us the most incredible golden sunsets, so I took the chance to step outside of my usual newborn work and have a little play. It felt so good to experiment, and revisit my outdoor portrait skills 🌅

After a little persuasion my daughter and I headed out to Great Ayton and created these beautiful images in the bluebells together. I’m honestly so in love with how they have turned out ✨

And don’t worry, no bluebells were harmed in the making of these photos. We stuck carefully to pre-trodden paths in the flowers and respected the space around us 💜
