Unfortunately, many photographers think that because they have mastered light and composition, they can capture Dancers and pull off a career in Dance photography. Unfortunately, this couldn’t be further from the truth; unless you know about the technicalities of Dance, you will quickly fail in this area of photography. With over 20 years of experience in performing arts and the photography world,
consisting of building successful performing arts schools, staging some of the biggest Dance events in the West End, and also being a parent of two Dance crazy children, Mathew Callingham has a proven track record in this area of photography. Since 2016, Mathew has primarily focused on Dance photography. He has travelled the UK, shooting more than 1500 Dancers. Our Dance shoots aren’t typical sessions you may receive at a Dance competition or when a general photographer attends your Dance school.
