Hello everyone! Really hope 2025 has started well for you all. A little business announcement here….

You may have noticed, I’ve been rather useless at keeping active on social platforms over the last year and in honesty, I’ve struggled to find the time alongside regular work and family life to share my photography and also manage new projects coming in. This has led to some reflection and after almost 5 years (and over 150 photoshoots!), I’ve made the decision to switch my photography back to being my most beloved of hobbies.

At this point, family time at weekends is my priority and I’m conscious how fast the years roll by. I absolutely love standing on a sideline cheering on my son and his football team or playing dance mum to my beautiful daughter…less so playing taxi to them both but that’s all part of the deal!

I’m proud to have overcome the ridiculous imposter syndrome to have set this all up in the first place and am so grateful to the wonderful people (and pooches!) that have allowed me to capture memories and trusted me with that task. It still feels surreal to think that people have actually paid me for the honour of photographing them and then placed my images on the walls in their homes, into photo-books to gift to family or even on websites to promote their businesses…utterly bonkers!

I’m leaving this chapter by sharing a photo that is really at the heart of where this whole photography journey began - ‘Sara, the friend with the camera’. I took this shot of Kevin the dog over the Christmas hols after bumping into a friend in our local park. I happened to have my camera with me, when I saw Kevin shyly tuck himself away to rest his head between my friend’s dad’s wellies (who was walking him that day). Her poor dad was totally baffled as to what this crazy woman with a camera was doing, bending down to photograph his crotch but hope you agree it made for too sweet a moment not to go for it and explain after!

All that’s left to say is thank you so much for supporting my little business over the years and following along. My passion for photography has not waned but life shifts and with that, priorities change. I will keep the page active for those that would like to keep following as I am hoping to still be able to share some of my hobby shots from time to time. To my friends and family, be prepared as I’m coming back to snap you all!!

Best wishes, Sara 🌻📸

A set I didn’t get round to sharing last year! These two giggled their way through our photoshoot and some of the outtake shots had me giggling too. Will pop some of those on my story to bring a smile at the end of the week 🌻

I’ve met this little chap a few times now and in fact capturing him and his big brother was one of my very first photoshoots. It seems impossible that the little 2 year old I chased around back then is now a smart school boy, so ready for the next exciting chapter of his life ✏️

After a wonderful summer break I’ve had a busy couple of weeks of ‘My 1st Day’ photoshoots.

Here is one new schoolie being waved off by his first friends in life…Woody, Buzz and Rex.

Back soon with some more captures! 🌻

Back in the fabulous Fletcher Moss Park for this super, fun family session.

Lots of toddling, nature exploration and of course a few bubbles which always go down well with the little peeps.

Summer seems a little lost this year but the positive from that is the plants and flowers are happy which makes them beautifully vibrant for photography. We can’t have it all but hopefully the sun will shine a little more at least as the season progresses!

Thanks to another lovely family for a great photoshoot🌻

A few images here of a larger group photoshoot, not something I usually offer but I knew just how much these loving grandparents were keen to finally capture their whole family together.

It was a bright, sunny morning and we held this in their garden which (much to grandad’s pride) was in beautiful bloom! I had done a quick recce the week before and identified a few spots I wanted to try given this was a new location.

The doves got involved, the hens made a show and this was quite literally a full family affair!

Before I fill my feed with pretty flowers across spring and summer here are a few snaps from a fabulous winter’s photoshoot I held at the start of the year.

This was all about celebrating a special grandad who had been longing for some pictures with his much adored daughter / granddaughters.

We met on a slightly frosty day but everyone coped well in the chill and we managed to mostly steer clear of any slippery patches! Grandad was an absolute star and fully embraced being in the spotlight and mum and her girls were brilliant too.

I must admit I did feel quite teary when going through these knowing just how precious these photos will be for these little girls in the future although they may not fully appreciate that now.

Capture the moments lovely people! 🌻

Bringing all the colour on this rather dismal day with this beautiful family!

I’m going to keep it unusually brief this time and let the images tell the story of two sweet little brothers and their wonderful mummy and daddy.

I hope they melt your heart as much as they did mine throughout this photoshoot. Pure magic 🍂🍁🍂Victoria Clayton

My first post of 2024! So firstly, a very Happy New Year and hope it’s been a good start for you all.

It’s a beautiful snowy day outside today and Winter at its very best! It seems so long ago that there were colours on the trees but here is a little reminder from one of my Autumn Family photo shoots.

It was one of those rare times where the 10% chance of rain struck just before the shoot and again part way through. It didn’t dampen (couldn’t resist!) spirits though and we ploughed on managing to capture some lovely moments for this wonderful family to treasure.

Thanks for choosing me and being fabulous! Áine Lamming

Well what a busy Autumn I had. From school photography, large family group photos (a one off for me) and of course my favourite Autumn colour portraits. Thankful to my clients for keeping me busy during the season which came as a little surprise given the cost of living situation. It warms my heart that people continue to value photographs and the memories they create even during tricky financial times.

It’s been so long since I’ve been on here to share any work and in fact looking back, the last thing I posted was a bushy-tailed squirrel! As magnificent as it was I don’t think it can quite beat beaming smiles of little people with their families.

So working back a little, here are a few images from the end of Summer. You may recognise mummy and daddy from a maternity session I held with them earlier in the year. It was so magical to have captured them as they became a family of 3. Baby Idris was as cute as a button throughout and seemed to enjoy his moment in front of the lens. Thanks for coming back to me James Kelly🌻

Cheeky, regular visitor in our garden. I’ve managed to convince my daughter it’s our ‘pet’ so we are definitely ticking one off the parent list 😉. Any name suggestions?!
