Well, I didn’t think I’d be writing this, and yet here I am.
As most of you will know, I was diagnosed with two types of cancer in 2019, and one of them returned for round two in 2021. The surgeries, treatments, and ongoing side effects have taken a huge toll—one that continues to this day.
After a third health scare around Christmas last year, it was time to make an incredibly difficult decision: do I carry on with Tickle Photography, or do I close the doors on a business I’ve absolutely loved running and finally prioritise my health?
As much as it pains me to say this, Tickle Photography will be closing.
To the incredible couples who trusted me to photograph their weddings over the years—thank you. Truly. It has been an honour to be part of your days, your stories, and your memories. I will always be grateful for the support and kindness. The great memories and endless laughs will stay with me forever.
The end of an era.
