Lizzie’s dress deserved a post of its own.

A classic bridal look from The Wedding Dress Company in Corbridge, and one that looked just as good in motion as it did standing still.

One of my favourite things about filming weddings is getting to capture all those little details that photographs can’t quite show. The movement of a dress, the way it catches the light, and how it looks when the bride finally gets to wear it on the day.

And Lizzie absolutely loved hers. Quite right, too.

One of the perks of filming weddings is getting to see some seriously good live music along the way.

From acoustic sets during the drinks reception to full bands taking over the evening, I’ve seen some proper talent over the years.

There’s something about live music at a wedding that changes the atmosphere. It’s always a great part of the day to film, especially when the band knows how to get a crowd going.

A little appreciation post for all the musicians I’ve crossed paths with this wedding season.

Rory and Emily wanted to write personal vows to one another, but rather than share them during the ceremony, they wanted to keep that moment just for the two of them.

So we headed over to the ruins of Bolton Abbey, during the cocktail hour, to record them privately.

A quiet moment away from everyone else and one they will always look back on.

Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey is an incredible wedding venue in the Yorkshire Dales. Set within the Bolton Abbey Estate in North Yorkshire, the restored barn is surrounded by some of the best countryside in Yorkshire, with Bolton Abbey and its ruins just a short distance away.
