Round 1 of the 'Official' Bayford Meadows Kart Circuit club championships report, is now on the Kent Sports News.

The BMKR 2026 championship for owner/drivers began last weekend with a dry day for the Bambinos on Saturday, followed by non stop rain on Sunday for all of the other classes. BMKR round 1 'Official' Bayford Meadows Kart Circuit

Some of my highlights from yesterdays very very wet opening BMKR championship at Bayford Meadows !

With the circuit flooded in a couple of places, the circuit team (and a few parents) did a great job in ensuring that the racing continued.

Last weekend's BM plate report from Bayford Meadows, is now on the Kent Sports News.

The 2026 owner/driver racing season began at 'Official' Bayford Meadows Kart Circuit last weekend, with the annual one off winter event, that offers the drivers the chance to wear the BM plates on their kart for the year. It was a bit wet for last year's BM plate meeting at 'Official' Bayford Meadows Kart Circuit and the forecast for Sunday is for light rain showers, so fingers crossed it isn't any worse !

The first outing of the year for me was on Sunday afternoon at 'Official' Bayford Meadows Kart Circuit, for their owner/driver practice day, held in bitterly cold but bright conditions. There was a good mix of classes and drivers, many preparing for the BM plate event on the 24th January.

The final round of the BPKC kart championships were held at the recently awarded outdoor kart circuit of the year, Buckmore Park. Buckmore Park won by a poll of public votes on the Karting Magazine website and double points were on offer for those competitors who braved the chilly December weather.....
