Penny & Ian 🌈🤍

We were incredibly lucky with the weather at — it stayed dry all day, right up until everyone sat down for the wedding breakfast… and then the heavens opened.

While everyone was eating, I spotted a few streaks of light beginning to appear behind the clouds and quietly crossed my fingers that we might get a rainbow.

And just before dessert, for the tiniest little window of time, this happened. 🌈

We quickly slipped outside and managed a couple of photographs before it disappeared almost as quickly as it had arrived.

One of those lovely wedding-day moments you simply can’t plan — you just have to spot it and be ready when it happens.

Govind & Lisa 🤍

Saturday was one of those wedding days where the weather really did test everyone — torrential rain for most of the day and plenty of checking the forecast hoping it might finally ease.

They were married at St Peter’s Church in Powick before heading back to .hotel for a huge celebration with their family and friends.

And thankfully, the rain did finally give us a break in the evening, just in time to step outside for a few photographs before everyone headed back in and the party really got going.

The dance floor was absolutely packed, the energy was high and there was so much joy in the room.

Not every wedding day gives you blue skies and perfect weather, but it still gives you its own beautiful story!

A gorgeous summer wedding for Zoe & Jacob at Blithfield Lakeside Barns 💙

Cornflower blue, bright florals, beautiful lakeside views and such a lovely relaxed feel throughout the day.

Blithfield looked incredible in the summer sunshine, with live music, mini golf and plenty happening for everyone to enjoy, while still leaving lots of space for those quieter little moments in between.

Such a beautiful day for these two at one of my favourite Staffordshire venues.

It was one of those seriously hot summer days, but they absolutely embraced it and we finished the evening under the fairy light tree once the light had finally disappeared.

I’ve photographed this tree in every season and I love seeing how much it changes throughout the year.

Such a lovely way to end the day.

An incredible day for Megan and Joe at the beautiful Bartle Hall Estate 🤍

Special shout out to the team at Bartle. I work with a lot of venues and a lot of coordinators, but the team there were up there with the best I have ever worked with. Friendly, organised, helpful and just genuinely brilliant all day.

Megan and Joe booked me after seeing me in action at another wedding, which really is the best kind of compliment.

Such a lovely day from start to finish, with a brilliant group of people and plenty of laughs along the way.

Lisa and Mark laughed, laughed and then laughed some more 🤍

They planned their beautiful Moat House wedding all the way from Australia, and the result was a day filled with so much fun, warmth and genuine joy. These two are such a brilliant couple to be around, and I don’t think there was a moment all day when somebody wasn’t smiling.

Courtney and Oli chose the most glorious sunny day on Friday for their wedding at Calderfields Golf and Country Club ☀️

Their outdoor ceremony overlooked the golf course, followed by a relaxed afternoon full of laughter, magic and plenty of brilliant reactions thanks to Owen Strickland , who kept the day flowing as both compère and magician.

The taupe and beige styling gave the day a beautifully elegant, understated feel, before the celebrations continued into the evening with indoor fireworks, dry ice guns and a packed dance floor courtesy of J.A.B.S Event Hire ✨

Introducing Mr and Mrs Robinson…

It just so happened that Dale and Laura chose the hottest day of the year to say their vows up on the hill at Abel’s Harp, with the Shropshire countryside stretching out around them.

It was a hot one, but the views were beautiful and they embraced every second of it.

We ended the day in the best possible way, feeding alpacas as the sun began to soften.

A wonderfully relaxed, slightly melted and completely memorable wedding day. 🤍
