After a steady stream of weddings through winter, May arrived at full speed - six weddings in the past two weeks alone - so before June kicks off I'm heading home to Wales for a breather! 😅 I have met some incredible couples, at incredible venues - and a lot of kind words are being fed back already too. Just had to share an excerpt of a recent review and a couple of images from R&N's elopement at the end of April, in the St Andrews Botanic Gardens 🌳 (which were looking stunning!):

How gorgeous are these two? 🥹

There was so much riding on this trip to Scotland from the US for G&T's wedding. At one stage we were even discussing the possibility that the whole day would have to be cancelled when G&T's hometown was hit by the once-in-a-century ice storm ❄️- but thankfully everyone made it over safely!

Thanks to G's incredible planning brain, these two scheduled a full week in Scotland - meaning we could arrange a separate post-wedding shoot to accommodate for any 'interesting' February weather that Scotland might have given us on the wedding day itself (and indeed we were blasted with the horizontal rain St Andrews does so well 🌧). But thankfully the post-wedding shoot weather was much more forgiving! 🌤️

I can't wait to share their finished wedding pics! 💞

Wishing all my clients and couples a happy Valentines Day today! 💞 Good rugby result is always a bonus too...

Busy January here - weddings, engagements, pre-wedding shoots - a quick pre-season holiday to the Canaries while I had a bit of time. Lots to share!

This week's (overdue) blog takes a look back at a surprise proposal I photographed at Dalhousie Castle near Edinburgh at the end of autumn. We were working with the very last traces of autumn light so naturally leaned into the moodier/black and white edit for this one.

K&S's elopement at Loch Morlich was peaceful, intimate, and full of quiet in-between moments. One of my Resolutions this year is being more proactive on my blogging, and we're kicking off with an absolute favourite. J&S's woodland elopement at The Hermitage in Dunkeld was such a lovely, relaxed day to photograph. Set amongst tall trees and riverside paths, Dunkeld is such a great spot for couples seeking a secluded spot where they can celebrate tying the knot at their own pace🌲
