Motorsport Monday: ERX Post 1 of 3 : Pit Life

Revisiting the European Rally Cross from earlier in the year again to give it a proper post.

Now the service area was of a whole other level to that to which I was used to seeing in mondello . Tents everywhere, autographs being signed , engines humming in the background, the heavenly smell of petrol clashing with the smell of the chip van . Honestly it has elevated what in my mind a motorsport event can be , if only for it to return to Ireland again I would be quite happy. But even looking at the images here again , everyone had full tents , service city as it were . Official and unofficial media alike around snapping photos and videos . Fantastic experience.

MCG Track day Post 1 of 3 : Drift Life

The drift sessions did not disappoint, we had slides , some more intentional than others but if in doubt style it out . Style it out most the drivers had done, have to say the quality of some of the builds looked like they should be at a show than dancing inches from a gravel trap . Like that the craic was mighty and thanks again MCG Autostyling for bringing the day together again.

In a class of her own at the European rally cross , in a heavier car than the competition but holding her own was Leah McManus during the weekend of the ERX. We will have to wait and see what happens next season at rally cross but definitely a space to watch
