The VW Carrado, what a car. The monster in the machine started to show a bit more this year in this car with one eye being swapped out for a vent. Air suspension has its upsides when having to let the car sit down nice for the show. With polished alloys so shiny its hard to take a photo without looking at yourself back in the reflection.

A car that has of course become a staple of my dubshed experience every year. Aspiration for what my own mk7 may strive towards, overall a very clean and sophisticated machine. What a car, and it’s a credit to the absolute gentleman that owns it who has always given me advice on my own car and encouragement to find the balance on photography and the passion that keeps it all going .

First of the one car features (besides my own) the iconic edition 30 that 2 years ago was a different car having been now transformed into this tasteful balance of modification and homage to the platform that its based on .

Great to head up for the unveiling of the new RS5 up at today for their collaboration with for Audi Heritage Day 3 .

With the new hybrid system it is a blend of power and environmental sustainability. It was always nice to see the internal combustion engine is not yet at the end of an era with performance models such as this one keeping the flames lit.

Very interesting to see. Looking forward to seeing if we will spot a right hand drive model in the near future.

Dubshed 2026:

Despite having to take a more scenic route up to it, it went off without a hitch. Have another new hat and hoodie to add to my ever expanding collection.

More photos to follow when I do get some time to get editing done but some of a mix of what was there on the day , from the morning of polishing and cleaning to the drift taxi and more chaos that went on throughout the day . Happy to have made the trip up again this year and looking forward to next year’s one again.
